How Bio Fertilizers Enhance the Fertility of the Land

The bio fertilisers, which prevent the pre-dripping of fruits and flowers, aid in enhancing the fertility of the land. They are meant to retain the optimum quality of the soil and have the constituents of biological wastes that don’t have chemicals infused in them.

Bio fertilisers have microorganisms that are beneficial for the soil and don’t result in crop diseases. It proves that there are no hazardous ingredients in the soil. Thus, it is the most preferred form of fertiliser because of its natural traits and non-toxic attributes. The chemical fertilisers result in the exploitation of the soil and the degradation of the soil quality level.

Availability of Bio Fertilisers

The phosphor, which releases the phosphorus in clay, Rhizos, the bacteria that excrete nitrogen from the roots of leguminous plants like peas, beans, and cloves, have the capacity to fixate the nitrogen. And releases approximately 20 to 50 gm of nitrogen per acre per season. Which means it releases 80% to 90% of the nitrogen into the atmosphere naturally. It plays a great role for plants like red grammememe, black and green gram, green grammememe, as well as oil seeds like groundnut and soy bean. Thus, it increases the efficiency of the overall production of the plants.

Azotobactor, a bio fertiliser that enhances seed germination, root proliferation, early flowering, and maturity, is applied through the seed treatment. It spreads to the soil, mixing while preparing compost, and in turn instigates vitamin A and phosphorus by excluding the pest. They are nutrient-rich sources of organic matter that breakdown and slowly feed the crops and plants, making the soil strong and healthy by improving its original state.

The effect of these bio fertilisers is dependent upon factors like climatic conditions, soil type, farming methods, etc. The fertiliser used and the method of application play a crucial role in its productivity. They are easily available, economical, and provide a better chance to improve the fertility of the soil. 20% improvement in wheat, paddy, sugarcane, cotton, potato, sunflowers, and other crops has been observed.
