Key Application Guidelines for Blood and Bone Fertilizer:
- Planting/Transplanting: Safe for use during planting or re-potting without the risk of root burn. Simply apply around 100 grams per square meter of planting area, then incorporate it into the soil. Maintain constant moisture to facilitate nutrient breakdown and root zone absorption.
- Bulbs: For bulbs, use one tablespoon per hole, increasing the amount for larger varieties. Thoroughly mix it into the soil and water well.
- Vegetable Gardens: When establishing new gardens, apply 1.5 kg per 10 square meters of area by thoroughly mixing it into the topsoil. For new planting, re-potting, or transplants, add only 2 spoons of Fish ‘N’ Bone and mix into the soil. For established plants, top-dress with 50 grams per plant monthly during the growing season.
- Container/Big Pots: For new plantings, add 2 tablespoons of Fish ‘N’ Bone per 3 liters or 2.5 kg per cubic meter of soil or growing media. Thoroughly mix it in. Follow the same method for established plants.
- Trees & Shrubs: Spread 800 grams per tree around the base, mixing it into the soil surface and watering well. For new planting, mix 20 grams into the planting hole.
- Row Crops/Acreage: Apply 400-700 kg per hectare based on specific crop needs.
Why Choose Fish ‘N’ Bone – Blood and Bone Fertilizer?
When you apply Fish ‘N’ Bone, it interacts directly with soil microbes, such as bacteria, earthworms, and fungi. This microbial digestion process makes the nutrients readily available for plant roots. Fish ‘N’ Bone replenishes beneficial microbes in the soil, increasing organic matter levels. This leads to lighter, more aerated soil where plant roots can flourish.
Enhanced Soil Health and Fertility: Fish ‘N’ Bone provides essential nutrients for plant growth and improves soil health. It results in stronger, healthier plants that are more resilient against pests and diseases.
For Home and Garden Plants: Fish ‘N’ Bone is perfect for yard and outdoor plants. When creating new gardens, apply it up to a week before planting, and mix it well with the soil. For existing gardens and containers, scatter it onto the soil surface, work it into the top inch of the soil, and ensure thorough watering.
